In June 2023, a Telegram user uploaded a stealer log file called GODELESS CLOUD, containing 8,983 records of stolen email addresses, plaintext passwords, and URLs. That was three years ago. The data is not gone. Breached credentials do not expire -- they are archived, resold, and reused by cybercriminals for years after initial exposure. The GODELESS CLOUD file has had years to circulate through criminal networks, be repackaged into larger datasets, and be tested against hundreds of online services. If your email is in this file, the risk has not passed -- it is ongoing.

Why This Is Dangerous

Stealer logs are permanant additions to the criminal data supply. Once a file like GODELESS CLOUD is distributed on Telegram, it gets archived, mirrored, and incorporated into larger credential databases that bad actors use for months and years. Plaintext passwords do not require any additional processing -- they remain usable indefinitely. Attackers can test credentials from 2023 against a new service launched in 2026, and if you never changed your password after this breach, your account is still vulnerable right now.

What Was Exposed

  • Email Addresses
  • Plaintext Passwords
  • URLs (endpoint and API host data)

Why This Matters

With 8,983 records, GODELESS CLOUD is one of the larger stealer log files in this category. Larger files get more attention from criminal buyers and are more likely to be incorporated into combo lists -- massive aggregated credential databases used for industrial-scale credential stuffing. Even if you were not targeted specifically, your data may now be embedded in these combo lists and tested continuosly against new platforms. The passage of time does not reduce this risk -- it extends it, because criminals keep refining and retesting their datasets.

How Stealer Log Breaches Work

The GODELESS CLOUD data was gathered by info-stealing malware deployed on victims' devices. These trojans -- such as RedLine, Vidar, or Raccoon -- infect machines through phishing campaigns, fake cracked software, or malicious browser extensions. Once active, they silently extract saved passwords from browsers, session cookies, autofill data, and visited URLs. Everything is bundled into a log file and sent to the attacker, who then distributes it through Telegram or dark web forums. The victem has no way of knowing this happened until they notice unexpected account activity.

Check If You Are Affected

HEROIC's free breach scanner searches over 400 billion exposed records -- including stealer logs like GODELESS CLOUD -- to tell you instantly whether your email has appeared in any known data breach. Even if this breach occurred in 2023, it is not too late to act. Run a free scan below. If your email appears in this file, change your password on every site where you use those credentials, enable two-factor authentication, and check your accounts for any suspicious activity going back to mid-2023.
