Not every breach needs millions of records to matter. HEROIC's threat analysts found a stealer log file named "Good_PrestaShop" uploaded to a Telegram channel on November 7, 2025, containing just 5 records, each pairing an email address with a plaintext password and the exact URL the login was used on.

Why This Is Dangerous

Where a breach with millions of records is often too big for an attacker to sift through carefully, a file with only 5 entries gets full, personal attention. Each one of these five accounts is a specific target, not a random name buried in a spreadsheet. The password is stored in plaintext, so there is nothing standing between the file and a working login.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs tied to each login

Why This Matters

A tiny leak is not a small problem for the people inside it. Attackers still use these logins for credential stuffing, testing the same email and password combination on other popular sites. If a password was reused anywhere else, the result can be account takeover, followed by identity theft or financial fraud, regardless of how few records were in the original file.

How Stealer Logs Happen

This data was not stolen from a company server. It was harvested by malware running quietly on someone's device, often installed through a fake download, pirated software, or a malicious link. The malware grabs saved browser passwords and site details, then exports them as a text log, which criminals trade, sell, or in this case, post directly to Telegram.

Check If You Are Affected

Size does not determine risk, and a five-record leak can still include your information. HEROIC's free breach scanner checks your email against a database of more then 400 billion leaked records, so you can find out quickly whether you were part of this leak or any other.
