HEROIC analysts discovered a stealer log uploaded to Telegram on June 20, 2026, labeled "10K H0tm0ail" by whoever compiled it. On closer inspection, the file actually contained 10,633 records, each pairing an email address with a plaintext password and the URL that login was used on. As with other stealer logs, this data was not the result of a breach at any single company but was instead harvested from individual devices already infected with information-stealing malware.

Why This Is Dangerous

Because analysts found this file circulating openly on Telegram, it means anyone, not just skilled hackers, can download it and immediately start using the plaintext credentials inside. There is no technical barrier between discovery and misuse.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs tied to each set of credentials

Why This Matters

A file of 10,633 credential pairs is large enough to fuel automated credential stuffing attacks against email providers, banking sites, and online retailers. Anyone whose login appears in this file and who reused that password elsewhere should treat every account sharing it as compromised until the password is changed.

How Stealer Logs Work

Stealer malware infects a device through a malicious download, phishing link, or cracked software, then silently copies saved browser passwords, cookies, and autofill data. Whoever controls that malware compiles the results into a log file like this one, often giving it a catchy name to make it more appealing to buyers before sharing or selling it on platforms like Telegram.

Check If You Are Affected

Finding a file like this is only useful if you can find out whether you are in it. HEROIC's free breach scanner checks your email against a database of more than 400 billion exposed records, including stealer logs like this one, so you can confirm your exposure and change any password that appears.
