In April 2024, HEROIC analysts flagged a combolist labeled "115K .MIX TEST COMBO MAIL ACCESS" that had been uploaded to a Telegram channel. The name suggests a much larger file, but the verified contents total 11,490 records, each one an email address paired with a plaintext password and a linked URL. Why This Is Dangerous With over 11,000 plaintext credentials in one file, this is large enough to run through automated tools that test logins against dozens of websites at once. Anyone who reused a password across multiple accounts is at risk the moment this file circulates, since the attacker doesn't need to guess or crack anything, only try the credential as-is. What Was Exposed in the 115K MIX Combo File Email addresses Plaintext passwords URLs linked to each set of credentials Why This Matters A file of this size gives an attacker enough volume to run large-scale credential stuffing campaigns, testing thousands of email and password combinations against banking, shopping, and social media sites in a single automated pass. Even a low success rate on a list this size can produce hundreds of compromised accounts, each one a potential entry point for financial fraud or identity theft. How "Mixed" Combolists Like This One Are Built Files labeled "mix" or "test combo" typically indicate the uploader merged credentials from several different sources, various older breaches, phishing kits, or stealer malware output, into one working file before sharing or selling it. The "test" label often means the uploader ran a quick validity check to confirm which logins still worked before distributing the batch, making the surviving 11,490 records more dangerous, not less. Check If You Are Affected If you've reused a password across multiple accounts, it's worth checking whether your information appears in leaks like this one. HEROIC's free breach scanner searches more than 400 billion leaked records, including combolists like this, and tells you instantly if your email address has been exposed.
