HEROIC Analysts Uncover 672 baystreet.ca Records in a Telegram Stealer Log

While monitoring Telegram channels for freshly leaked data, HEROIC analysts found a stealer log, uploaded on June 10, 2026, that contained 672 records linked to baystreet.ca. Each entry paired an email address with a plaintext password and the URL where the login had been used.

Why This baystreet.ca Discovery Is Dangerous

What makes this find concerning is how usable the data is straight out of the box. The passwords are stored in plaintext, so there's nothing to crack, and each one already comes matched to an email and a specific site. That combination lets an attacker attempt account access immediately, without any extra work.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs of the sites where the credentials were used

Why This Matters

Anyone in this dataset who reused their baystreet.ca password on another account is at risk of that account being taken over through credential stuffing. From there, the door opens to identity theft or financial fraud, especially if the reused password protects an email or banking login.

How Stealer Logs Like This One Get Made

Infostealer malware typically arrives disguised as cracked software, a game cheat, or a free download. Once installed, it silently harvests every saved password and autofill entry from the browser, bundles the results into a log file, and sends it back to the attacker. Those logs are frequently resold or dumped on Telegram, which is how HEROIC analysts came across this baystreet.ca data.
