Hotmail Access Leak: 3,064 Logins Could Unlock More Accounts

In December 2024, HEROIC analysts discovered a stealer log titled "3k Fresh Top Hits Hotmail Access 15.12" uploaded to Telegram by an anonymous user. The file contained 3,064 records of Hotmail email accounts, including email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of the login pages used to access them. Labeling it "fresh" and "top hits" suggests the seller was marketing these as recently captured, working logins.

Why This Hotmail Access Leak Is Dangerous

A Hotmail or Outlook inbox is often the single account that controls everything else a person owns online.
