Hotmail Fresh B4_Jx Stealer Log: 2,271 Records Exposed on April 18, 2026

HEROIC analysts found a stealer log dataset labeled "Hotmail Fresh B4_Jx" circulating on Telegram, dated April 18, 2026, part of the same "B4_Jx" series as two other logs HEROIC catalogued from this source. This batch contains 2,271 records of stolen login data, including email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of the websites those credentials unlock.

Why the Hotmail Fresh B4_Jx Leak Is Dangerous

One leaked password rarely stays contained to a single account. If any of these 2,271 Hotmail passwords is reused anywhere else, an attacker who confirms it works on the email account can use that same password, or the access to the inbox itself, to unlock other accounts entirely. Email inboxes are especially valuable because they're the place password reset links get sent.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords, stored and shared with no encryption
  • URLs of the login pages tied to each stolen credential

Why This Matters

Because these passwords are stored in plaintext and already matched to their login URLs, an attacker can log into a Hotmail account immediately, then use "forgot password" links to chain their way into banking, shopping, or social media accounts tied to that inbox. That chain reaction is what turns 2,271 leaked email logins into a much larger case of identity theft and financial fraud.

How Stealer Logs Work

Stealer logs come from infostealer malware, families such as RedLine, Raccoon, or Vidar, that infects a device through a cracked download, malicious ad, or phishing link, then quietly copies whatever is saved in the browser: usernames, passwords, cookies, and autofill data. That stolen information gets bundled into a "log" and shared or sold on Telegram channels, exactly where HEROIC's analysts found this batch and its related B4_Jx files.

Check If You Are Affected

Because one leaked password can chain into other accounts, checking your exposure matters even if you think the damage is contained. HEROIC's free breach scanner checks your email against more than 400 billion leaked records collected from breaches, stealer logs, and dark web dumps, and shows you exactly what to change if something turns up.
