A stealer log calling itself "3.8K Fresh Hotmail Valid - TXT Cloud" made its way onto Telegram, and true to its name, it holds 3,815 verified Hotmail login pairs. The word "valid" in that title isn't marketing fluff either, it means these passwords were confirmed to still work at the time of upload.

Why This Is Dangerous

Confirmed working credentials are worth more to criminals than unverified ones, because there's no guesswork involved. A buyer knows imediately that the 3,815 email and password combos in this file will actually log in, wich makes the file more valuable and more likely to be used quickly rather than sitting idle.

What Was Exposed

  • 3,815 total records
  • Email Addresses
  • Plaintext Passwords
  • URLs from each login session

Why This Matters

This leak puts victims at risk of a chain reaction. First comes account takeover of the Hotmail inbox itself. From there, an attacker can trigger password resets on other services tied to that email, wich means one leaked Hotmail password can definately snowball into losing access to banking apps, shopping accounts, or social media in a single afternoon.

How Stealer Logs Work

Files marketed as "fresh" and "valid" like this one are usually the product of recent malware infections, meaning the data was harvested and verified shortly before being posted. The malware scans a victim's browser for saved Hotmail logins, tests that they still work, and bundles the confirmed ones into a log to sell or share.

Check If You Are Affected
