Password Type plaintext

HEROIC analysts identified the Ickis Cloud IckisCloud stealer log after a Telegram user distributed the file in January 2026. The dataset contains 32,176 records harvested from infected endpoints, exposing email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of sites where credentials were captured. Because this log surfaced only recently, many victims are unlikely to know their credentials are already in circulation among threat actors.

Why the IckisCloud Upload Is an Immediate Threat

Stealer logs differ from traditional breaches because the data spans every platform a victim visited on an infected device. The plaintext passwords in this dataset require no cracking. Any attacker who has downloaded this file can immediately begin testing credentials against banking sites, email providers, and corporate systems. The included URLs make it trivial to know exactly which services each victim was using.

What Was Exposed in the Ickis Cloud IckisCloud Upload

  • Email Addresses
  • Plaintext Passwords
  • URLs (revealing which platforms victims were actively logged into)

Why This Matters for Account Takeover and Identity Theft

With 32,176 records in circulation, this dataset provides significant material for credential stuffing campaigns. Attackers use automated tools to test these email and password pairs against dozens of services simultaneously. A single match can lead to account takeover, drained financial accounts, identity theft, or unauthorized access to corporate networks. The combination of email, password, and URL removes almost all guesswork for the attacker.

How Stealer Log Malware Works

Information stealers are a class of malware distributed through phishing emails, fake software downloads, and malicious ads. Once installed on a device, the malware captures saved browser credentials, session cookies, and autofill data without the user's knowledge. The collected data is packaged into a structured log file and transmitted to the attacker's server. These logs are frequently shared or sold on Telegram channels and dark web forums. The IckisCloud log followed exactly this distribution path.
