In August 2026, HEROIC analysts identified a combolist file named "Russia condorthecracker" uploaded to a Telegram channel by an anonymous user. The file contained 2,323 records pairing email addresses with plaintext passwords and the URLs they were used on.

Why the condorthecracker Leak Is Dangerous

A combolist bundles email and password pairs, typically gathered from older breaches and stealer logs, into one file that criminals can plug directly into automated login tools. If you use the same password on more than one site, that one credential can unlock accounts far beyond wherever it was originally used.

What Was Exposed in the condorthecracker File

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • Associated login URLs

Why This Matters

Because so many people reuse the same password across multiple sites, a single leaked pair can open the door to email, banking, or social accounts. Anyone in this file whose password has been reused anywhere is at real risk of account takeover, even on sites that have nothing to do with where the credentials were captured.

How Combolists Work

Combolists are compiled rather than hacked directly. Criminals pull credentials from leaked databases and stealer logs, strip out duplicates, and merge everything into a single email:password file. These lists then circulate on Telegram and dark web forums for use in credential stuffing attacks, which is exactly what "Russia condorthecracker" appears to be.
