Leaked: 1.8K Hotmail Combo list Full Valid uploaded by a Telegram User
In July 2026, HEROIC analysts found a file labeled "1.8K Hotmail Combo list Full Valid" posted to a Telegram channel, containing 1,418 exposed records. Despite the "combo list" label the uploader gave it, the data itself matches the structure of a stealer log: each record pairs a Hotmail email address with a plaintext password and the login URL it was used on.
How a File Like This Gets Uploaded
It typically starts with malware infecting a victim's device through a pirated download or fake installer, silently copying saved browser logins. The operator running that malware then filters the results down to a specific slice, in this case Hotmail accounts, tests each login to confirm it still works, and posts the full valid batch to Telegram for other criminals to buy or use directly.
What Was Exposed
- Hotmail email addresses
- Plaintext passwords
- Login URLs tied to each credential pair
Why This Matters
Because this batch was filtered and confirmed valid, the accounts in it are especially attractive for account takeover, an attacker does not need to guess whether a login still works. Anyone who reused their Hotmail password on other sites also faces a real risk of credential stuffing, and if the account connects to banking or shopping logins, financial fraud or identity theft can follow.
Stealer Logs vs. Combo Lists
Sellers on Telegram often use the term combo list loosely, but a true combo list is usually just email and password pairs scraped from old breaches, with no guarantee any of them still work. What makes this file different is that it was sourced from a stealer log, credentials taken directly from an infected browser, then verified as currently active, which is exactly why the uploader marked it full valid.
