The January 30, 2023 Logs Upload

On January 30, 2023, a Telegram user posted a stealer archive labeled logs, exposing 334 credential records drawn from infected endpoints. The file landed on a public channel alongside dozens of other stealer drops that same day, part of the steady stream of credential data that flows through Telegram-based credential markets.

Snapshot of the Exposed Data

All 334 records combine an email address, a plaintext password, and the URL where the credential was captured. The Jan 30 batch skews toward everyday consumer logins rather than enterprise admin panels, which means the biggest risk is reuse: an attacker grabbing the file gets a ready-made list to test against email, shopping, and banking sites.

How the Date Lines Up With Known Activity

January 30, 2023 coincided with a well-documented surge of RedLine and Raccoon stealer activity. Log operators frequently batch-publish smaller archives on the same day to keep their Telegram channels active, rotating out older content so subscribers have something fresh to mine each week.

Why a 334-Record Drop Still Matters

A small count can feel harmless, but every row is a working plaintext credential tied to a real site. If you entered a password on any site in early 2023 and still use that password today, a log this size can hand an attacker your account in seconds through a credential stuffing tool.

Recommended Next Steps

Rotate any password you may have reused across sites, prioritizing email, banking, and work accounts. Turn on multi-factor authentication everywhere possible, adopt a password manager to keep every login unique, and run a trusted anti-malware scanner on devices that had browser-saved passwords during early 2023.
