Password Type plaintext

In December 2025, HEROIC identified 11,455 records from a stealer log file uploaded to Telegram by an anonymous user. The data was posted on LogsDiller and contained email addresses, plaintext passwords, and URLs associated with compromised endpoints.

Why This Stealer Log Is Dangerous

If your credentials appear in a stealer log, your device was likely infected with credential-harvesting malware. Unlike database breaches, stealer logs capture passwords directly from the victim's browser or application at the moment of entry -- meaning the passwords are current and accurate at the time of theft. Attackers using this log can access any account whose credentials were captured, with no cracking or guessing required.

What Was Exposed in This Stealer Log

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs of compromised endpoints

Why This Stealer Log Data Puts You at Risk

Stealer logs are among the most actionable datasets in the cybercrime ecosystem. Plaintext passwords paired with matching URLs allow attackers to log directly into the exact accounts where credentials were stolen. This goes beyond credential stuffing: the attacker knows exactly which site your password belongs to. If your email appears in this log, your accounts -- banking, email, and API services -- should be treated as compromised and passwords changed immediately.

How Stealer Log Breaches Work

Stealer malware infects victim devices through phishing emails, malicious downloads, or compromised software. Once installed, it silently harvests credentials stored in browsers, password managers, and applications, then sends the captured data to a command-and-control server. This log was compiled from such infections, bundled as a file, and distributed through Telegram for use by other threat actors in account takeover campaigns.
