HEROIC analysts identified a stealer log dump, labeled "Mail Acces 6K Valid Mix 100," posted to a Telegram channel on August 26, 2025. The file contains 5,995 records pulled from infected computers, including email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of the accounts those credentials belong to. The "6K" and "Valid" labeling used by the uploader suggests the seller was marketing the file as a batch of roughly 6,000 confirmed, working logins mixed across different types of accounts.

Why This Is Dangerous

With this file in hand, an attacker can do far more than just view stolen data, they can act on it directly. Because every password was captured in plaintext straight from the victim's device, and each record includes the URL of the account it unlocks, an attacker can immediately attempt to log in to that exact account without any cracking or guessing. From there, an attacker can change the password to lock out the real owner, search the account for personal or financial details, or use it as a launching point to reset passwords on other connected services.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs of the websites where the credentials were used

Why This Matters

Because this file was marketed as a "mix" of valid logins across multiple sites, the 5,995 people affected could have accounts ranging from email and social media to banking or shopping platforms exposed. Attackers commonly use lists like this for credential stuffing, testing each email and password combination against other popular websites, which can quickly turn one leaked login into several compromised accounts if a password was reused.

How Stealer Logs Work

Stealer logs come from infostealer malware that infects a victim's device, often hidden inside pirated software, cracked game files, or fake downloads, and then quietly extracts saved usernames, passwords, and browsing data from the browser. The stolen information is packaged into a log file and sold or shared, often through Telegram channels where sellers label and price batches based on how many logins are included and whether they have been checked for validity. A "mix" like this one typically means the credentials come from a variety of unrelated websites rather than a single targeted service.
