In December 2025, a stealer log file known as "Mansory 5" surfaced on Telegram after an anonymous user uploaded it to a public channel. The file contained 1,090,706 individual records made up of email addresses, plaintext passwords, and browsing URLs, all pulled directly from devices infected with information-stealing malware. Unlike a breach of a single company's servers, this data was harvested one infected computer at a time, then bundled together and shared for anyone to download.

Why the Mansory 5 Leak Is Dangerous

Every credential in this dump was stored in plaintext, meaning there is no encryption standing between a criminal and the password itself. Anyone who downloads the file can open it and immediately start using the logins exactly as they were typed by the original account holder. Paired with the URLs also captured in the log, attackers know precisely which site each password unlocks, making it trivial to log straight into email accounts, shopping sites, and other services.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs linking each password to the exact site it unlocks

Why This Matters

Because passwords and their matching login pages were captured side by side, this data is ready-made for credential stuffing attacks, where criminals automate login attempts across banking, email, and retail sites hoping victims reused the same password. A successful match can lead to account takeover, identity theft, and financial fraud, especially for anyone who has not changed the exposed password since it was stolen.

How Stealer Log Leaks Like This Happen

Stealer malware infects a device, often through a pirated download, fake software update, or malicious email attachment, and quietly copies every password saved in the victim's browser along with the web addresses those passwords belong to. The malware sends this haul back to the attacker, who packages logs from thousands of infected machines into a single file, like "Mansory 5," and distributes it through Telegram channels and dark web marketplaces where other criminals buy or download it for free.
