In May 2026, HEROIC analysts tracking dark web and Telegram channels identified a stealer log file known as "Mix Raped" that had been uploaded by an individual redistributing malware harvested data. The file contained 6,060 records, each combining a website address, an email address, and a plaintext password pulled directly from a compromised device.

Why the Mix Raped Log Puts Accounts at Risk

Stealer log data is different from a typical hacked database because the passwords are captured in plaintext, exactly as the victim typed them, straight from the browser or application where they were entered. That means anyone who obtains this file does not need to crack or guess anything. They can log directly into the matching site with the matching email and password the moment they open the file.

What Was Exposed

  • Email Addresses
  • Plaintext Passwords
  • Associated Login URLs

Why This Matters

Because the 6,060 credential pairs in this log are ready to use, they are prime material for credential stuffing, where automated tools try the same email and password combination across banking, shopping, email, and social media sites. Anyone who reused one of these passwords elsewhere is at risk of account takeover on accounts well beyond the one originally logged by the malware.

How Stealer Logs Work

A stealer log is the output of information stealing malware, a type of program that quietly infects a device and copies saved passwords, autofill data, and browsing history before sending everything back to the attacker. Criminals often package these logs by size or theme, as seen here, then sell or share them in bulk on Telegram and dark web forums where other criminals buy them for further exploitation.
