In April 2026, HEROIC analysts flagged a stealer log dump named "Mix Fresh B4_Jx" that a Telegram user had uploaded and shared publicly. The file contained 152 records, mostly tied to United States based accounts, made up of email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of the sites those logins belonged to.

Why This Is Dangerous

The word "Mix" in the file's name reflects what stealer logs actually are: a grab bag of whatever logins happened to be saved in a victim's browser at the time the malware ran. That means a single record in this dump could unlock anything from a personal email account to a shopping site or a subscription service. Because the passwords are stored in plaintext and paired with the exact URL they belong to, an attacker does not need to guess or crack anything. They can simply copy the credentials and log in directly.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs of the login pages tied to each credential

Why This Matters

Every record in this dump represents a working login for a real account at the time it was stolen. If any of those 152 passwords were reused across other sites, attackers can attempt credential stuffing to break into email, financial, or shopping accounts that share the same password. A compromised email account in particular can act as a master key, letting an attacker reset passwords on other services and escalate a small stealer log into a much larger identity theft or fraud problem.

How Stealer Logs Work

Stealer logs are produced by infostealer malware, a type of infection that typically spreads through cracked software, fake downloads, or malicious email attachments. Once installed, it quietly pulls saved usernames, passwords, and browsing history straight out of the victim's browser and packages them into a log file. Criminals then upload these logs to Telegram channels, exactly as happened here, so other attackers can buy or download them and start testing the credentials right away.
