The MIX HITS Combolist: How One Password Unlocks More Than One Account

HEROIC analysts found a combolist labeled "MIX HITS," uploaded to a Telegram channel and dated 24-May-2026. The file contains 3,826 records, each pairing an email address with a plaintext password and a URL identifying the associated login.

Why One Leaked Password Can Chain Into More Damage

The danger in MIX HITS is not limited to the single site listed in each record. If you reused that plaintext password anywhere else, the same combination can unlock your email account, and from there an attacker can reset passwords on nearly every other service tied to that inbox, from banking to social media.

What Was Exposed in MIX HITS

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs tied to each login

Why This Chained Risk Matters

Credential stuffing tools are built specifically to test one stolen password across many services in seconds. Once an attacker gets into your email through a reused password, they can trigger password resets everywhere else, turning one small leak into a full account takeover, identity theft, or financial fraud.

How a Mixed Combolist Like This Gets Built

A "mix" combolist typically pulls email and password pairs from several different sources rather than a single breached site, then merges them into one file. That mix is what makes chained attacks so effective, since the credentials inside can unlock accounts across many unrelated services.
