In early February 2023, HEROIC analysts identified a stealer log posted to Telegram titled "3.1KK Mix Streaming," containing 2,428,872 exposed records tied to streaming service accounts. Each record pairs an email address with a plaintext password and the URL of the login page it opens, consistent with malware that harvests saved credentials directly from an infected browser.

The Mix Streaming Dump: 2.4 Million Stolen Logins Hit Telegram

Nearly 2.5 million email and password combinations tied to streaming accounts are now circulating in plaintext. Streaming credentials are a favorite target for resellers who repackage stolen logins and sell cheap access to premium accounts, but the real danger goes far beyond someone else watching your shows on your dime.

What Was Exposed in the Mix Streaming Log

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs of the associated login pages

Why This Matters

Most people reuse passwords across multiple services, so a streaming password is often the same one protecting an email or banking account. A file of this size gives attackers everything needed for large-scale credential stuffing, and once a reused password is confirmed to work on one site, the same login can be tried on banking, shopping, and social media platforms, opening the door to account takeover and financial fraud.

How a Stealer Log This Large Gets Built

Infostealer malware infects devices through pirated software, cracked apps, or malicious downloads, then automatically pulls every saved password and its matching login URL from the browser. Criminals combine logs from thousands of infected machines into massive "mix" files like this one, sorted loosely by the type of service the credentials unlock, and trade them in Telegram groups built around stolen account access.
