A Single Credential Pair Surfaces in an NL Combolist

HEROIC analysts identified a combolist labeled "NL" uploaded by a Telegram user on 18-Jun-2026. Unlike the large files that circulate on the same channels, this one contains a single record: one email address paired with a plaintext password, along with the URL that credential belongs to. Small does not mean harmless, this is still one real account with a working, exposed login.

Why Even One Exposed Password Is Dangerous

Because this password is stored in plaintext, whoever holds the file can read it instantly and try it on the linked URL without any extra effort. If this happens to be your email and password, an attacker already has everything needed to log in as you, and if you use that same password anywhere else, they can try it there too.

What Was Exposed in This Combolist

  • One email address
  • One plaintext password
  • The URL linked to the account

Why This Small Leak Still Matters for Your Security

A single exposed credential pair can still be used for credential stuffing, where an attacker tries the same email and password across other websites in case you reused it. That one match can be enough to trigger account takeover, and from there identity theft or financial fraud, especially if the reused password protects an email, banking, or shopping account.

How Combolists Like This One Get Shared

A combolist is a file of email or username and password pairs, usually compiled from earlier breaches, though in this case the uploader shared just a single pair rather than a large batch. Even small files like this circulate on Telegram channels and dark web forums, where they sit alongside much larger lists and get picked up by the same buyers running automated login attempts.
