In July 2026, HEROIC analysts came across a file named simply "DO" uploaded to a Telegram channel. Unlike most of the combolists analysts track, this file contains just a single record: one email address paired with a plaintext password and the URL it was used on. Why this is dangerous: a single leaked credential might sound minor, but for the one person affected, it carries the same risk as being caught up in a much larger breach. If that plaintext password is reused anywhere else, an attacker who finds this file can log directly into that person's other accounts without any extra effort. What was exposed in the "DO" file: one email address, one plaintext password, and the URL of the site or service the login was used on. Why this matters: small, single-record files like this one are common on Telegram, often shared as samples, test uploads, or leftovers from a larger operation. Size doesn't change the outcome for the person involved, a matching, reused password is still enough for credential stuffing or account takeover. It's a reminder that breach data doesn't need to be massive to cause real harm to the individual it belongs to. How a combolist like this one comes together: even a one-line combolist follows the same path as larger ones, a credential is captured through a phishing page, malware, or an old breach, then shared, traded, or dumped on Telegram, sometimes as a small sample meant to prove a larger cache is legitimate. Files like "DO" often circulate alongside bigger combolists as previews of what a seller has for sale. Check if you are affected: whether a breach exposes one record or one million, checking your exposure takes the same amount of effort. HEROIC's free breach scanner checks your email against more than 400 billion leaked records so you can confirm whether your information appears anywhere, including in small files like this one.
