HEROIC analysts tracking Telegram channels used for trading stolen credentials identified a stealer log file tied to a seller known as LogsDiller, uploaded on December 20, 2025. One single upload contained 8,822 individual records, each pairing an email address with a plaintext password and an associated URL, data quietly harvested from malware-infected devices.

Why the LogsDiller Leak Is Dangerous

The passwords in this leak were stored and shared in plaintext, meaning anyone who downloads the file can read every password instantly, with no cracking required. Paired with the matching email addresses and URLs in each record, an attacker has a ready-made list of accounts to log into directly. One file, one upload, 8,822 people now exposed.

What Was Exposed in the LogsDiller Leak

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • Associated URLs (the sites or services each login was used on)

Why This Matters If You Reuse Passwords

Most people use the same password across several accounts, so a single exposed credential pair can open far more than one door. Criminals feed leaks like LogsDiller into automated tools that test the same email and password combination against banking sites, email providers, and social media platforms, a tactic known as credential stuffing. If your information is among these 8,822 records, the real risks are account takeover, identity theft, and financial fraud on any service where that password was reused.

How a Stealer Log Like LogsDiller Gets Created

Stealer logs are produced by infostealer malware, malicious software that infects a device, often through a fake download, cracked software, or phishing link, and silently copies saved passwords, browser autofill data, and session details. That stolen information is sent back to the attacker, who compiles it into a log file and distributes it under a brand name like LogsDiller. These archives are frequently shared or sold in Telegram channels and dark web forums, often marketed as fresh batches to attract buyers.
