In April 2024, a Telegram user uploaded a stealer log file named "Bugatti_Cloud Bugatti_Man 27.04.part04." HEROIC analysts confirmed the file contains 2,080 records of endpoints, email addresses, API hosts, and plaintext passwords, data pulled directly from devices infected with information-stealing malware.

Why the Bugatti_Cloud Stealer Log Is Dangerous

Unlike a simple list of old passwords, a stealer log reflects what was active on a victim's device at the moment of infection. The endpoints and API hosts included alongside emails and passwords in this file tell an attacker exactly which services a victim was logged into, making it far easier to target real, currently used accounts rather than guessing.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • Endpoints and API hosts
  • Associated URLs

Why This Matters

Because stealer logs capture live credentials, they are especially valuable for account takeover and financial fraud. An attacker working through these 2,080 records could log directly into email, cloud storage, or financial platforms without needing to crack anything, since the malware already captured working sessions and passwords.

How a Stealer Log Like This Gets Made

Stealer malware such as RedLine, Raccoon, or Lumma infects a device, often through a pirated download or malicious attachment, then quietly harvests saved browser passwords, autofill data, and connection details before sending everything back to the attacker. The resulting log, like this "Bugatti_Cloud" file, is then packaged and sold or shared on Telegram.

Check If You Are Affected

If your device has ever shown signs of malware or you have downloaded software from an unverified source, it is worth checking your exposure. HEROIC's free breach scanner searches over 400 billion leaked records, including stealer log data like this, so you can see whether your credentials have surfaced anywhere.
