Records Exposed 131
Source Type Stealer log
Origin United States
Password Type plaintext

HEROIC uncovered a stealer log collection tagged Xavier_Log 170 from the Xavier_Group channel on Telegram in July 2026. Though smaller in scale at 131 records, each entry contains a complete set of login credentials: an email address, a plaintext password, and the URL of the service where those credentials were captured. Even a compact dump like this puts real people at serious risk.

The Danger of Passwords Stored in Plaintext

Every credential in this Xavier_Group dump is stored without any form of encryption or hashing. The passwords appear exactly as each person typed them. For an attacker, this removes every technical hurdle. There is no cracking required, no decryption step, and no delay between obtaining the data and attempting unauthorized access to the associated accounts.

What Was Exposed

  • Email Addresses — the primary login identifier for most online accounts
  • Plaintext Passwords — fully visible, unencrypted credentials
  • URLs — direct links to the websites where each login was originally used

Small Leaks, Big Consequences Through Credential Stuffing

A breach does not need to contain millions of records to be dangerous. Credential stuffing attacks work by testing stolen email-password combinations against many different services simultaneously. If even one of the 131 victims in this dump reused their password across email, banking, or cloud services, attackers can pivot from a single compromised login to a full account takeover across platforms.

How Infostealer Malware Generates These Logs

The Xavier_Group data was extracted by infostealer malware installed on victims' devices. This software quietly harvests browser-saved passwords, autofill entries, and active session cookies, then packages the stolen data into log files. These logs are distributed through Telegram channels and underground marketplaces. Each of the 131 records in this file traces back to a compromised device and a person who may still be unaware their credentials were stolen.

Check If Your Credentials Were Exposed

Even in a smaller breach, your data could be among those compromised. Use the HEROIC data breach scanner to search more than 400 billion records from known breaches and stealer log dumps. If your credentials appear in the Xavier_Log 170 leak or any other data set, take immediate action: change your passwords, use unique passwords for every account, and turn on two-factor authentication.
