The PegasusCloud Leak Could Unlock Your Email and Linked Accounts

HEROIC analysts identified a stealer log called PegasusCloud, uploaded by a Telegram user on 4 July 2024. The file contains 7,645 records harvested from infected devices, including email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of the sites those credentials belong to.

Why This Is Dangerous

The PegasusCloud leak could unlock far more than a single account for each of the 7,645 people affected. Because stealer logs capture whatever a victim's browser had saved at the time of infection, one record can include the login for an email account plus any other site the same browser remembered, creating a chain of access rather than a single point of exposure.

How Stealer Logs Work
