In July 2025, HEROIC analysts identified a stealer log file uploaded to Telegram under the name "Peppermint_Cloud_1." The file contained 811 records, each including an email address, a plaintext password, and the URL of the service where the credential was captured. The "Cloud" naming convention indicates the file was distributed via cloud-hosted storage, a common technique used in Telegram-based cybercrime channels to make credential dumps easily accessible to a wide audience. Every record was comprimised by infostealer malware before being packaged and shared.

The attacker then uploads the file to cloud storage and shares the link through private Telegram channels, where other criminals can download and use the data. The "_Cloud_1" suffix in the name suggests this is one of a series of files distributed this way.
