In June 2026, HEROIC analysts found a stealer log tied to plopmail.com uploaded to Telegram by a threat actor. The file contained 1,365 records made up of email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs those credentials were used on.

Why This plopmail.com Stealer Log Is Dangerous

Logs like this one start with malware quietly infecting someone's computer, then scooping up whatever passwords were saved in the browser along with the web addresses they belong to. Once that stolen data is packaged into a file and shared on Telegram, anyone who gets a copy has 1,365 working logins ready to try, no cracking or guessing required.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs linked to each set of credentials

Why This Matters

Because each password is matched to its exact login page, attackers can move straight to account takeover on the accounts in this log. If any of these passwords were reused on other sites, such as email, banking, or shopping accounts, credential stuffing tools let attackers test the same password across many unrelated services, spreading the fallout from one infected device much further.

How Stealer Logs Work

Stealer logs are produced by malware that infects a device and secretly copies saved browser passwords, autofill entries, and the web addresses tied to them, then sends everything back to the attacker. Because the theft happens on the victim's own computer instead of a company server, the stolen credentials are often still valid and unchanged when the log is sold or shared.
