HEROIC analysts flagged the Pokemon Negro breach while tracking a password spray campaign targeting gaming-related accounts and fan communities. The breach occured in approximately October 2016, when a database from this Spanish-language Pokemon fan site was offered on a hacking forum, exposing 830,088 user accounts.
