Pubx's Double Strike: 160,572 US Credentials Across Two Oct 6 Releases

The second Pubx batch released on October 6, 2023 -- 63,599 US stealer log credentials -- confirms Pubx as the single largest individual operator on the day's most significant credential dump event. Combined with the first Pubx release of 96,973 records, Pubx's Oct 6 total reaches 160,572 records. This dwarfs every other non-Monster Cloud operator on the day and equals aproximately 57% of Monster Cloud's entire 286,334-record Oct 6 contribution -- achieved by a single operator across just two releases.

Pubx Stealer Log, 2nd Batch (Oct 6, 2023): Summary

  • Records Exposed: 63,599
  • Data Types: Email addresses, plaintext passwords, URLs
  • Breach Type: Stealer log -- credentials harvested from malware-infected endpoints, not a direct database breach
  • Password Type: Plaintext -- captured directly from browser sessions and credential stores by infostealer malware
  • Country: United States
  • Date Leaked: October 6, 2023

Two Distinct Releases, One Dominant Operator

Pubx's two Oct 6 batches carry different UUIDs and different record counts, confirming they originate from seperate harvesting operations rather than a single dataset split across two posts. The first batch (96,973 records) and the second (63,599 records) may represent different geographic clusters, infection campaigns, or collection timeframes that both happened to surface on the same calendar day. This two-batch structure is uncommon -- most Oct 6 operators released a single dataset, and Monster Cloud's multi-batch approach is distict in that its batches are administratively numbered as a series.

Where Pubx Fits in the Oct 6 Hierarchy

Ranked by total Oct 6 records, Pubx's 160,572 sits second only to Monster Cloud's 286,334. FortunaPrivate 3 (55,009) ranks third, followed by Usmancloud 733logs (20,522), Klaus_cloud_public's combined 25,174, and the remaining 15 operators. The 20 non-MC operators contributed a combined 373,726 records to Oct 6 -- bringing the day's confirmed grand total to more than 660,000 exposed US credentials, now definitively the largest single-day event in HEROIC's dataset.
