HEROIC analysts discovered a stealer log dump titled "USA VALID" circulating on Telegram in May 2026. The file contained 1,852 verified credentials belonging to US-based internet users. Each record includes an email address, a plaintext password, and the URL of the service where the login was captured. The "VALID" label confirms these credentials were tested against live services and confirmed working before being distributed.

Why Validated US Passwords in Plaintext Create Maximum Exposure

When credentials carry both the "valid" stamp and appear in plaintext, victims face the worst-case scenario. There is no encryption to buy time and no dead entries to dilute the threat. Every one of these 1,852 US accounts can be accessed immediately by anyone who downloads the file.

US accounts are high-priority targets because of the extensive digital services tied to American identities. Online banking, healthcare portals, tax filing systems, government benefits platforms, and corporate email are all accessible to attackers armed with a working email-password pair.

Password reuse amplifies the threat dramatically. If any of these 1,852 victims use the same password across multiple services, a single entry in this dump can lead to the compromise of their entire digital presence, from social media to financial accounts.

What Was Exposed in the USA Valid Dump

  • Email Addresses — US-based email addresses confirmed active at the time of testing
  • Plaintext Passwords — Verified, unencrypted passwords ready for immediate exploitation
  • URLs — Login pages for US services where each credential was confirmed working

Why 1,852 Verified US Credentials Are a Direct Pipeline to Fraud

Validated credential dumps are the most efficient tools in a cybercriminal's arsenal. Unlike raw, untested dumps where success rates may fall below 10 percent, validated lists deliver near-perfect hit rates. Every entry in this dump was confirmed to grant access at the time of collection.

For US-targeted fraud, these credentials can enable unauthorized wire transfers, credit card applications, insurance claims, and government benefit harvesting. The economic impact per compromised US identity averages thousands of dollars, making even a small validated dump like this extremely profitable for attackers.

The credentials will also circulate beyond the initial Telegram release. Validated US dumps are regularly repackaged, combined with other leaks, and sold across multiple underground markets, extending the exposure window for affected individuals.

How Stealer Logs Produce Validated US Credential Sets

The creation of a validated US dump follows a multi-step process. First, infostealer malware such as RedLine, Vidar, or Lumma infects devices through phishing, malicious downloads, or compromised websites. The malware harvests saved credentials from browsers and transmits them to attacker servers.

Next, the operator filters the raw logs by country, isolating US-based credentials based on email domains, service URLs, and geolocation data. Finally, automated scripts test each credential against the associated service URL, retaining only those that successfully authenticate.

This filtered and validated output is then packaged as a premium product. The "USA VALID" label serves as a quality guarantee on underground markets, commanding higher prices than unvalidated or mixed-country dumps because buyers know the credentials deliver immediate results.

Check If Your US Credentials Were Exposed

If you are a US internet user who has saved passwords in a web browser, your credentials could be among the 1,852 validated records in this dump. Because these credentials were confirmed working, they are being actively traded and exploited. Changing your passwords immediately is essential.

Use the HEROIC data breach scanner to search across more than 400 billion compromised records. Check whether your email address appeared in this validated US dump or any other known breach, and enable multi-factor authentication on all accounts to prevent unauthorized access even if your password has been compromised.
