HEROIC researchers found 6,502 records on February 20, 2023, inside SECRET_LOGS 1, the opening volume of a Telegram stealer log series uploaded to a public drop channel. Each row pairs a victim email with a plaintext password and the login URL the credential was captured from.

Why This Stealer Log Is Dangerous

SECRET_LOGS 1 is volume one of a numbered series, which usually signals an operator with a steady pipeline of fresh credentials. The first drop sets the stage for follow-on logs and tells buyers the data is current.

Because every password is stored in plaintext, there is no cracking step. Someone can download SECRET_LOGS 1 and start logging into real accounts within minutes of the upload.

What Was Exposed in SECRET_LOGS 1

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • Login URLs and API host endpoints
  • Endpoint metadata from each infected device

Why This Matters

Six thousand working credentials is enough to fuel large credential stuffing runs against banks, retailers, and SaaS platforms. If you reuse your password anywhere, one row can unlock many accounts.

The concrete outcomes are familiar and expensive. Account takeover, fraudulent purchases, identity theft, and locked-out primary email accounts all trace back to logs like this one.

How a Stealer Log Like SECRET_LOGS 1 Works

Infostealer malware such as RedLine or Raccoon lands on a device through a cracked installer, a fake update, or a phishing attachment. It scrapes saved passwords, cookies, and autofill data, then ships the bundle to the operator.

The operator packages batches as a numbered series, drops volume one on Telegram, and sells access to the channel so other criminals can replay the credentials at scale.
