In September 2024, a single upload to a Telegram channel put 3,142,853 records into public circulation, all bundled under the name "segacloud 2106 4." That's millions of individual email and password combinations, all traced back to one uploader and one file.

Why This Is Dangerous

A leak of this size doesn't stay in one place for long. Once a file with millions of records gets shared, it gets copied, indexed, and imediately becomes a resource that multiple different criminal groups can pull from at once, not just the original uploader.

What Was Exposed

  • Millions of email addresses tied to individual accounts
  • Plaintext passwords stored with no protection at all
  • URLs pinpointing which specific site each login was captured from

Why This Matters

With numbers this large, statistically it becomes very likely that your information, or that of someone you know, is somewhere in that pile. This isn't a seperate, niche event, it's a mass harvesting operation that touched a huge number of ordinary internet users.

How Stealer Logs Work

A file this large typically comes from malware that had been running across many infected machines for an extended period before everything was consolidated into one export. Each infected device contributes its own set of saved browser passwords, and when combined, the totals climb into the millions quickly.

Check If You Are Affected

Given the scale here, checking your own exposure takes just a minute. HEROIC's free scanner draws from a database of more than 400 billion leaked records, including massive stealer log dumps like this one, so you can see immediately whether your email is on the list.
