A file simply called seller cloud 5 turned up on Telegram on January 31, 2023, and it wasn't small. Inside were 987,863 records of real people's emails, plaintext passwords, and the exact URLs those passwords unlock.

Why This Is Dangerous

Close to a million records puts seller cloud 5 in rare territory for a file uploaded by a single Telegram user rather than a corporate breach. That scale alone makes it attractive to criminals looking to buy or trade access to a large batch of working credentials, and many recieve their copy through private channels before the file ever goes public.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses tied to each account
  • Plaintext passwords stored without encryption
  • URLs revealing which services each login unlocks

Why This Matters

When a file reaches nearly a million entries, individual victims can start to feel like a rounding error, but every single record still belongs to a real person who now has to worry about what else might be linked to that password. Reusing passwords is exactly what turns one leak into several, which makes a password audit neccessary long before any warning sign shows up.

How Stealer Logs Work

This file came together the same way most stealer logs do: malware infects a device, quietly harvests saved passwords, autofill entries, and browser cookies, then sends everything back to whoever controls the infection. That person then compiles files like seller cloud 5 and shares or sells them, sometimes to build a reputation, sometimes purely for profit, but definately always without the victim's consent.
