In January 2025, HEROIC analysts identified a stealer log titled "120124 HQ Private MIX SIXBOi" uploaded to Telegram by an anonymous user. Look closely at that name: the leading numbers appear to be a batch or date code the seller used to track this specific upload, while "SIXBOi" looks like the handle of the person who collected and posted it. Behind that small detail sits a file of 119,891 records, including email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of the websites those logins were used on.

Why This SIXBOi Combo Leak Is Dangerous

Nearly 120,000 credentials in a single file marketed as "HQ," or high quality, means the seller believed most of these logins still worked. Because each record pairs a plaintext password with the exact site it unlocks, an attacker skips straight past guessing or cracking and can attempt to log in immediately.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs of the associated login sites

Why This Matters

At this scale, the danger isn't limited to one account. Attackers commonly take large plaintext credential files like this one and run them through automated tools in a technique called credential stuffing, testing the same email and password against banking, shopping, and email accounts until one grants access.

How Stealer Logs Work

Stealer logs come from malware that infects a device and silently harvests saved usernames, passwords, and browser data, then sends it all back to whoever controls the malware. Sellers often tag their files with a handle and a batch code, exactly like SIXBOi did here, both to claim credit and to help buyers track when the data was collected.

Check If You Are Affected
