In July 2025, a Telegram user operating under the handle skull_roses uploaded a stealer log file containing 30,877 records with email addresses, plaintext passwords, and targeted service URLs. The file was distributed freely in a Telegram channel, giving any subscriber an instant attack kit with no technical knowledge required. If your email address is in this dump, every account where you use that same password is now at risk -- and you may not know it happened until it is too late.

Why This Is Dangerous

Plaintext passwords in a stealer log are the worst possible outcome for victims. There is no encryption to crack, no time delay, no buffer between the attacker and your accounts. With 30,877 records available, automated credential stuffing tools can cycle through every email-password pair in minutes, testing them against banking platforms, email providers, and social media sites simultaneously. The URLs included in this dump give attackers a precise roadmap -- they already know which services you use and which ones to target first. One exposed password can unlock dozens of accounts if you have reused it even once.

What Was Exposed

  • Email Addresses
  • Plaintext Passwords
  • URLs (specific services and API endpoints targeted by the malware)

Why This Matters

The skull_roses dump did not stay in one Telegram channel. Stealer log data of this volume spreads rapidly to dark web forums, combolist repositories, and credential stuffing marketplaces within hours of the original post. Victims who do not act quickly face compounding risks: unauthorized purchases, drained bank balances, hijacked email inboxes used to reset passwords on other services, and identity theft that can take years to resolve. The 705-count designation suggests this is a curated selection from a lager infosection campaign, meaning additional related records may be circulatng in other channels. The urgency here is real -- not hypotheticle.

How Stealer Log Breaches Work

Stealer logs originate from infostealer malware that silently infects devices through phishing emails, fake software downloads, cracked applications, or malicious browser extensions. Once running on your device, the malware scans your browser's saved password database, reads active session cookies, captures keystrokes, and packages everything into a structured log file. That file is transmitted to the attacker's server and then dropped into Telegram channels for free distribution. The skull_roses operator compiled this particular archive from infected machines and posted it publicly, handing 30,877 people's login credentials to anyone who wanted them. You do not have to do anything wrong to end up in a file like this -- you just had to visit one malicious page at the wrong moment.
