Source Type Stealer log
Origin Telegram
Password Type plaintext

HEROIC researchers found 238 records on June 19, 2025, inside a stealer log titled Snakes_folders 109count, uploaded to a public Telegram drop channel. Every row pairs a victim email with a plaintext password and the login URL or API host it was captured from.

Why This Stealer Log Is Dangerous

A small drop like Snakes_folders 109count is often more dangerous than a bulk dump, not less. Smaller curated batches tend to be newer and unused, which means the credentials inside are fresh enough to still unlock real accounts.

Every password in this file is stored in plaintext. No hashing, no rainbow tables, no delay. A buyer can pull Snakes_folders off Telegram and start logging in immediately.

What Was Exposed in Snakes_folders 109count

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • Login URLs and API host endpoints
  • Endpoint metadata from each infected device

Why This Matters

Even 238 fresh rows can trigger real damage. Attackers replay them against banks, email providers, crypto exchanges, and workplace SSO pages looking for one reused password.

The outcomes follow the same pattern every time. Account takeover, drained balances, identity theft, and credential stuffing attacks that spread to every other service the victim uses.

How a Stealer Log Like Snakes_folders Works

Infostealer malware reaches a device through a cracked installer, a fake update, or a phishing attachment. It silently copies saved browser passwords, cookies, and autofill data, then ships the loot to the operator.

The operator packages harvests into named batches like Snakes_folders 109count, tags them with a record count, and drops them on Telegram for buyers to grab and run credential stuffing at scale.
