In July 2025, a Telegram user uploaded a stealer log file called Snakes_folders 564count, releasing 28,798 records of stolen credentials onto the dark web. The file contained plaintext passowrds, email addresses, and the URLs of the sites where those credentials were used -- the product of malware silently running on infectd devices across the country. To put that number in context: 28,798 records is more than the capacity of a sold-out stadium for most professional sports teams. Each one of those records represents a real person whose login was stolen without their knowledge.
