HEROIC researchers found 6,462 records on 31-Oct-2024 from STAKE_LOGS, a stealer log file uploaded to a public Telegram channel.

Why This Stealer Log Is Dangerous

STAKE_LOGS is not a hashed password dump that buys victims time. Every record contains a usable email, a plaintext password, and the exact URL where that password works. Attackers can feed these rows directly into credential stuffing tools against gambling platforms, webmail, banking portals, and corporate SSO endpoints. The 6,462 accounts inside this drop effectively represent 6,462 pre-validated login attempts waiting to be replayed.

What Was Exposed in STAKE_LOGS

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • Login URLs and API host endpoints
  • Application and service identifiers tied to each credential
  • Endpoint metadata from infected browsers and devices

Why This Matters

Telegram-hosted stealer logs lower the skill floor for account takeover. A low-tier operator can download STAKE_LOGS for free, parse it with a public script, and start testing credentials against high-value targets within minutes. Because gambling and crypto-adjacent services are disproportionately represented in Stake-themed logs, affected users often face direct financial loss, wallet drains, and forced password resets across linked email accounts.

How a Stealer Log Like STAKE_LOGS Works

Infostealer malware such as RedLine, Raccoon, or Lumma lands on a victim device through pirated software, malicious Google Ads, or fake installer pages. The malware silently harvests browser-stored credentials, autofill data, session cookies, and crypto wallet files. Operators bundle the output into logs and drop them on Telegram channels, where resellers and stuffers collect STAKE_LOGS-style files within hours of upload.
