In April 2026, a threat actor on Telegram released a stealer log file containing 6,211 records tied to cloud service accounts and API endpoints from SunCloudNew. The exposed data included plaintext paswords, email addresses, and URLs -- giving attackers a direct map to compromised cloud infraestructure and user accounts. Stealer logs targeting cloud services are particularly dangerous because a single compromised credential can cascade into access to multiple interconnected systems.

Why This Is Dangerous

Cloud service credentials are among the most valuable targets for cybercriminals. Unlike a single website account, cloud access can unlock storage buckets, API keys, connected applications, and administrative dashboards. Plaintext passwords in this dump require no additional processing -- attackers can begin credential stuffing and account takeover attempts immediately after downloading the file. The inclusion of URLs means criminals already know which cloud environments and services to hit first.

Why This Matters

The 6,211 compromised records in this breach represent cloud and technology service users whose login credentials are now circulating on dark web channels. Because stealer logs capture credentials from live sessions, many of these accounts may still be active. Organizations relying on cloud services face heightened risk -- a single stolen employee credential can be the entry point for a broader intrusion. For individual users, the risk of account takeover and data theft is immediate once these logs are distributed.

How Stealer Log Breaches Work

Stealer malware is delivered through phishing campaigns, trojanized software downloads, and malicious browser extensions. Once installed on a victims device, it silently harvests saved credentials, session cookies, and authentication tokens from browsers and installed applications. The stolen data is bundled into structured log files and distributed through Telegram channels or sold on dark web marketplaces. The SunCloudNew 1711 log followed this exact pattern -- a Telegram user uploaded 550 log files containing 6,211 records ready for exploitation.
