HEROIC analysts examined a stealer log file labeled SunCloudNew 1771, uploaded to Telegram on 5 July 2026. The uploader advertised the file as containing roughly 303,000 records, but HEROIC's verification found 148,195 actual records made up of email addresses, plaintext passwords, and login URLs, a common gap between the inflated numbers sellers post to attract buyers and what the data actually contains.

Why the SunCloudNew 1771 Leak Is Still Dangerous

Even at the verified 148,195 records, this remains a large, plaintext credential dump. No cracking is needed since every password is stored in readable text, and the paired URLs tell an attacker exactly which login page each credential unlocks. The gap between the advertised and actual size is a reminder that these dumps are marketed like products, but the real exposure is still substantial.

What Was Exposed in SunCloudNew 1771

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs of the sites where credentials were entered

Why This Matters for the People in This Dataset

Every plaintext email and password pair in this leak is usable immediately for credential stuffing, where attackers automatically test the same login across banking, retail, and email platforms. If a password from this file was reused elsewhere, it can quickly turn into account takeover, identity theft, or financial fraud well beyond wherever the credential was originally captured.

How ULP Stealer Logs Like SunCloudNew 1771 Work

ULP stands for URL, Login, Password, the format infostealer malware uses when it harvests saved credentials from an infected device. The malware silently copies each browser-stored password along with the site it belongs to, then the operator packages the results into a file for sale or distribution on Telegram, sometimes advertising an inflated record count to boost interest, as appears to be the case here.
