SunCloudNew 1784 Stealer Log Exposes 38,411 Records

HEROIC analysts identified a stealer log file named "SunCloudNew 1784 - 450 LogsFile" uploaded to a Telegram channel on July 24, 2026. The file contains 38,411 records made up of email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of the sites those credentials were captured from.

Why This Is Dangerous

Stealer logs differ from a typical leaked database because the credentials inside were harvested directly from infected devices at the moment someone typed them in, or pulled from saved browser data. With 38,411 records, each pairing an email, a plaintext password, and the exact URL it was used on, an attacker gets a ready-made map of which login goes with which site, with zero cracking required.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • Associated URLs

Why This Matters

Because each record links a password directly to the URL it unlocks, this kind of log is more immediately useful to attackers than a plain email and password list. It lets them go straight to account takeover on the exact service affected, whether that is email, banking, or an online store. From there, a criminal can pivot into credential stuffing on other sites, identity theft, or financial fraud using the same reused password.

How Stealer Logs Work

A stealer log is the output of information stealing malware that infects a device, often through a fake download, cracked software, or malicious email attachment, and then quietly collects saved passwords, autofill data, and browsing history from the victim's browser. The malware bundles everything it finds, in this case 38,411 records, into a log file and sends it back to whoever controls it, who then sells or shares it, as happened with the "SunCloudNew 1784" file on Telegram.
