Telegram ‘HQ Mix Combo’ Leak Exposes 10,272 Stolen Logins
In early January 2025, a Telegram user uploaded a combo list labeled "HQ Mix", exposing 10,272 records of email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of the sites where those credentials were used. Unlike single-platform stealer logs, a mix combo pulls together credentials from many different websites into one list, meaning the exposed logins are not limited to a single service or provider.
This is a stealer log, not a breach of any one company's own systems. The credentials in it were harvested from devices already infected with malware, then compiled by whoever uploaded the file and shared on Telegram for other criminals to use.
Why This Combo List Is Dangerous
Every password in this list was stored and shared as plain, readable text. Because the file mixes credentials from many different sites rather than just one, it is especially useful to criminals running automated tools that check the same login against dozens of platforms at once, looking for any account that still works.
What Was Exposed
- Email addresses
- Plaintext passwords
- URLs of the login pages where the credentials were captured
Why This Matters for You
A mixed combo list like this one is built for credential stuffing, where attackers use software to try each email and password combination across many different sites in minutes. Because so many people reuse the same password everywhere, one leaked login can unlock several accounts, opening the door to account takeover, identity theft and financial fraud.
How Combo Lists Like This One Are Built
Infostealer malware infects devices through cracked software, fake downloads or malicious attachments, then quietly harvests saved passwords, autofill data and browser cookies. Criminals combine the output from many infections into a single mix combo file, sort it, and distribute it through Telegram channels where buyers pick through the data for accounts worth exploiting.
