A Telegram threat actor dropped a stealer log file in December 2024 under the label TOKYO CLOUD FREE155, exposing 34,680 records from compromised endpoints in the United States. The data included plaintext passwords paired with email adresses and service URLs, which means every record arrived in a ready-to-use format for credential stuffing or direct account takeover. At over 34,000 records, this is a large-scale dump that significantly raises the odds that active credentials are still circulating in underground markets today.

Why This Is Dangerous


Stealer logs containing plaintext passwords eliminate the most time-consuming step in a credential attack. There is no hash to crack and no encoding to reverse. Attackers can load these records directly into automated tools and begin testing them against email providers, banking apps, and corporate portals within minutes of downloading the file.

The scale of this particular dump makes it especially concerning. Thirty-four thousand records represent a large pool of potentially active credentials, and statistically a meaningful percentage of those passwords are likely still in use across multiple accounts. The attacker bundles these logs into named batches, often using labels that reflect the campaign, target region, or service category. The TOKYO CLOUD FREE155 label likely indicates a specific collection or grouping within a larger operation, organized for easy distribution and resale across Telegram channels and dark web forums.

Free distribution on public Telegram channels is a known tactic used to build notoriety among the threat actor community, attract buyers for premium data, or simply maximize the damage from a single collection.
