HEROIC's DarkHive system discovered the TG NewWlfrCloud breach, exposing 29,832 records in May 2025. This US-based Telegram stealer log operation exposed user email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of compromised sites belonging to American internet users whose credentials were harvested by malware deployed through Telegram channels.

Why This Is Dangerous

Stealer log breaches are fundamentally different from database breaches because the credentials were actively harvested from victims' infected devices by malware, meaning the stolen plaintext passwords are confirmed to have been in active use on the specific URLs listed in the log at the time of infection. The inclusion of URLs alongside credentials confirms which specific platforms each victim's account was compromised on, providing attackers with a ready-made targeted attack map that eliminates the need for credential stuffing across thousands of platforms. Telegram stealer operations have become a primary distribution mechanism for infostealer malware that continuously harvests fresh credentials from newly infected devices, making these logs a high-priority threat to victim account security.

What Was Exposed

  • Email Address
  • Plaintext Password
  • URLs (of compromised sites)

Why This Matters

Victims of the TG NewWlfrCloud stealer log operation face confirmed, targeted account compromise on the specific platforms identified in the breach URLs, as attackers possess working plaintext credentials for those exact sites without needing to attempt credential stuffing across other platforms. Infostealer malware infections often also capture browser-saved passwords, cookies, and session tokens, meaning the actual scope of compromise for each victim may extend far beyond what appears in the stealer log itself. Anyone whose credentials appear in this stealer log should immediately change passwords on all platforms, run a complete malware scan, and treat all previously saved browser credentials as potentially compromised.

How Stealer Log Works

Stealer logs are generated by infostealer malware that infects victim devices through malicious downloads, phishing links, and fake software installers distributed through Telegram channels and other social media platforms. Once installed on a victim's device, the malware harvests all saved browser passwords, active session cookies, email credentials, and visited URLs, packaging the data into structured log files that are uploaded to criminal Telegram channels for sale and distribution. The resulting stealer logs contain confirmed, immediately usable plaintext credentials for every platform where the victim had saved their password in their browser at the time of infection.
