Among the operators active during the October 19-22, 2023 US credential exposure cluster, CRYPTON_LOGS distinguished itself with an unusual double-release strategy on the cluster's opening day. While most operators posted a single batch on October 19, CRYPTON_LOGS distributed two separate collections: a 741log batch containing 6,670 records and this 976logs batch containing 13,958 records. Together they delivered 20,628 compromized US credentials on a single day -- more than any other operator contributed on October 19. The 976logs release is the larger of the two, with 976 individual log files averaging approximately 14.3 records per infected endpoint.
