HEROIC analysts discovered a stealer log file shared on Telegram in March 2026 targeting PrestaShop-related credentials. The dataset, named Good_PrestaShop, exposed 7 records containing email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of the affected login endpoints. Though the record count is small, the data points directly to compromised administrative or customer accounts on PrestaShop installations.

Why PrestaShop Admin Credentials Are a High-Value Target

PrestaShop is used by tens of thousands of online stores worldwide. Admin credentials captured from a PrestaShop installation give an attacker direct access to customer data, payment configurations, and order history. Even a single compromised admin account can expose an entire store's customer base and enable fraudulent transactions or data exfiltration.

The Real-World Risk of Targeted E-Commerce Credential Theft

Credentials captured from e-commerce platforms like PrestaShop give attackers a path to merchant accounts, stored customer information, and potentially payment gateway configurations. An attacker who gains access to a store's admin panel can redirect payments, exfiltrate customer records, or install malicious code that captures future payment data from shoppers.

How Stealer Log Breaches Work

Stealer logs are produced when information-stealing malware infects a victim's computer. The malware captures login credentials from browser sessions, saved passwords, and any data typed into web forms, then bundles the results into structured files. These files are shared through Telegram channels and cybercriminal marketplaces. In this case, the malware specifically captured credentials entered at PrestaShop login pages.
