In June 2023, a threat actor shared a stealer log file through Telegram under the name TIZIX CLOUD2. The file contained 3,949 records of stolen credentials -- email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs where those credentials were used -- all harvested from real devices infected with info-stealing malware. Understanding how this breach happened is the first step toward protecting yourself from the next one.

Why This Is Dangerous

TIZIX CLOUD2 is not a traditional data breach where a company's database was hacked. Instead, these credentials were stolen directly from the devices of real users through malware. That means the passwords are not hashed or encrypted -- they are plaintext and immediately usable. With 3,949 records now circulating in criminal networks via Telegram, each affected account is at risk of unauthorized access, identity theft, and financial fraud.

What Was Exposed

  • Email Addresses
  • Plaintext Passwords
  • URLs (the specific login endpoints and API hosts targeted by the malware)

Why This Matters

Every record in the TIZIX CLOUD2 file represents a real person whose device was compromissed and whose credentials were quietly stolen without their knowledge. The inclusion of URLs means attackers know exactly where each password works -- eliminating the guesswork from credential stuffing attacks. If any of these passwords are reused across other services, the blast radius of this single stealer log expands significantly beyond the 3,949 records it contians.

How Stealer Log Breaches Work

The TIZIX CLOUD2 file originated from an info-stealer malware infection campaign. Here is the typical progression: a user visits a malicious site, downloads a trojanized file, or clicks a phishing link. Malware installs silently on their device. The malware scans browsers and applications for saved credentials and session tokens. It transmits the stolen data to an attacker-controlled server. The attacker packages the credentials into a named log file -- in this case, TIZIX CLOUD2 -- and shares or sells it through Telegram channels dedicated to credential trading. The entire process can happen in minutes, and victims rarely know it occurred until their accounts are accessed without authorization.
