In June 2023, a Telegram user quietly uploaded a stealer log file tied to TIZIX FREE. The breach exposed 6,878 records containing plaintext passwords, email addresses, and URLs. Three years later, that data is still circulaing on dark web forums and credential marketplaces -- and most victims have no idea they were ever exposed.

Why This Is Dangerous

Stealer logs are among the most actionable types of leaked data available to cybercriminals. Unlike hashed or encrypted credentials, this breach exposed plaintext passwords -- meaning anyone who obtained the file could immediately attempt to log in to accounts without needing to crack anything first. Combined with matching email addresses, attackers have everything they need to launch credential stuffing campaigns at scale.

What Was Exposed

  • Email Addresses
  • Plaintext Passwords
  • URLs (endpoint and API host data)

Why This Matters

Stealer log data doesn't expire. Even though this file was uploaded nearly three years ago, the credentials it contains remain valuable as long as victims haven't changed their passwords. Criminals routinely buy, trade, and re-package old stealer logs to launch fresh attacks. If your email and password were in this file, your accounts could still be at risk today -- and may have already been comprimised without your knowledge.

How Stealer Logs Work

Stealer logs are generated by malware installed on a victim's device -- often through phishing emails, malicious downloads, or compromised software. Once installed, the malware silently harvests saved credentials from browsers, apps, and system stores. The resulting log file is then sold or shared on Telegram channels and dark web marketplaces. Because the data comes directly from infected devices, it frequently includes active session tokens and autofill data in addition to usernames and passwords.
