Source Type Stealer log
Origin United States
Password Type plaintext

Security analysts found 8,222 records exposed in a stealer log file uploaded to Telegram on July 9, 2023. The breach, distributed under the TIZIX FREE label by an unidentified Telegram user, contained email addresses, plaintext passwords, and URLs captured from compromised endpoints. The data was collected silently by infostealer malware running on infected machines and then bundled into a free log package shared publicly through Telegram channels.

When 8,222 sets of plaintext credentials land in a Telegram channel, the consiquences reach far beyond the original infection. Every email and password pair in this dump can be fed directly into credential stuffing tools. Every URL shows exactly which service was targeted. Victims may not know their accounts are being accessed until a purchase they didn't make shows up, a password they never changed stops working, or a notification arrives from a country they have never visited. The damage from a stealer log breach rarely stops at the first compromised account.

Leaked Files: What TIZIX FREE uploaded by a Telegram User Exposed

  • Email Addresses - Real email addresses from active accounts, providing attackers with direct contact points for phishing and account takeover.
  • Plaintext Passwords - Passwords captured exactly as entered, ready for immediate use across other platforms without any cracking required.
  • URLs - The specific websites where those credentials were in active use, giving attackers a precise roadmap to the victim's accounts.

The Security Fallout From TIZIX FREE uploaded by a Telegram User

The most immediate consequence of this breach is credential stuffing. Automated tools can cycle through the 8,222 email and password pairs against hundreds of platforms in a matter of hours. Streaming accounts get hijacked and resold. Online retail accounts get drained or used for fraudulent orders. Email accounts get taken over and used to reset passwords on linked services, creating a chain reaction that can compromise an entire digital identity from a single leaked credential. Identity theft is the longer game, where attackers cross-reference leaked emails with other breach databases to construct detailed profiles for financial fraud or social engineering attacks.

Inside a Stealer log: Where Your Data Went

Infostealer malware like Redline, Raccoon, or Vidar infects a computer through a malicious download, a phishing link, or a cracked software installer. Once running, it silently harvests every saved password from every browser on the machine, along with session cookies, form autofill data, and sometimes cryptocurrency wallet files. The malware transmits this data to the attacker within minutes and then often deletes itself to avoid detecton. The attacker packages the stolen data into log files and either sells them on criminal marketplaces or distributes free samples through Telegram to attract customers or build credibility. The TIZIX FREE label indicates this was exactly that kind of promotional sample.
