The TOKYO CLOUD FREE85 Log Sat Quiet. Now 3,770 Logins Are Exposed.
HEROIC analysts identified a stealer log called TOKYO CLOUD FREE85, uploaded to a Telegram channel on 2 July 2024. The file contained 3,770 records made up of email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of the accounts they unlock, all harvested directly from devices infected with information-stealing malware.
Why This Is Dangerous
The credentials in TOKYO CLOUD FREE85 were captured straight from infected browsers, so they reflect real, working logins at the time of theft. Stored in plaintext, they require no cracking or technical effort, meaning anyone who obtains the file can immediately attempt to access any of the 3,770 accounts listed inside it.
What Was Exposed
- Email Addresses
- Plaintext Passwords
- URLs
Why This Matters
Every record in TOKYO CLOUD FREE85 pairs a real email address with its password. Attackers use logs like this to run credential stuffing campaigns, automatically trying the same login across banking, email, and social media platforms. If you have ever reused a password tied to one of these accounts, that reuse could open the door to account takeover, financial fraud, or identity theft on services you never expected to be at risk.
How Stealer Logs Work
A stealer log is generated by malware that infects a device, often through pirated software, a cracked download, or a malicious attachment, and then silently extracts saved browser passwords, autofill entries, and visited URLs. That stolen data is sent back to the attacker, who bundles it into a file such as TOKYO CLOUD FREE85 and distributes it through Telegram channels and dark web marketplaces. Because the credentials come directly from the victim's browser, stealer logs tend to be more current and accurate than data pulled from older breaches.
